The 1st XI were coming off a run of four games without a win and it looked like the worst possible time to play league leaders Lymm, Butcher and the rest of the batsmen knew they faced a tough task when they were stuck in.
Butcher opened the batting and led by example, hitting his maiden first team ton with a knock of 104 that came from just 80 balls and included 12 fours and five sixes.
He was eventually removed by Travis Scholes, but the damage had already been done and Park finished on 200-5, a total that Lymm would fall 23 runs short of as Winnington took home the 25 points.
The century looked as if it had been coming for AB, he had scored three fifties in his previous five games and now has 462 runs in Cheshire Cricket League Division Two - enough for the highest total in the league at the halfway point.
Honourable mentions this week include Iain Connor who shone with the ball in the 1st XI's win over Lymm as he took 6-53, Ash Houghton grabbed 5-34 in a superb 15 over spell in the 2nd XI's win over Cheadle Hulme Ladybridge and Kendol Richardson hit 46 from 33 balls in the same game.
