Through the season a total of 15 different players were used and there were some excellent performances, none better than Taz Barnes who played the final game, finishing 18* and bowling 3 tight overs. Honourable mentions should go to Greg McKeown and Darren Cammack who both made re-debuts to roll back the years and score 150 runs between them.
The bowling was led by James Hanson whose tight lines ensured even the lowest totals were defendable for the Park, he was ably supported by the decrepit Jonathan Wales. Taff also chipped in with 130 runs at 32.5.
With two third places in a row and promising performances from the team’s younger players, the Park will surely be tipped as contenders for next year’s title.
