Club Changes

The club AGM was held at the end of last year, with only one major change to the structure of the committee. Stuart Hayes continues as 1^st Team captain, but after 7 years of service to the club Howard Burtwisle has stepped down as Captain of the 2^nd Team. Jonny Wales continues as 3^rd team captain.

Chairman, Ian Johns said “Howard was and still is a vital member of the club, his organisational skills and team leading abilities will be missed on the captaining side, and we hope that Howard continues to play and frustrate the many bowlers he has faced overs the years with his Caribbean style of batting”. Taking Howard’s place is Bryan Shingler who has moved up the ranks to become a good leader and team player. Bryan will be supported by Eoin Welch and Greg McKeown as well as the rest of the team.

Another change is the appointment of 3^rd XI Manager Geoff Wales as fixture secretary.
